Alan MunroA veteran of over 30 years in the radio business. Alan graduated from northeast broadcasting school Boston in 1966 and worked his first radio job at WKZR in Exeter NH doing on air work and sales.

Then it was on to WEAN/WPJB in providence RI in 1967 working as an air personality in the 10am -2pm time slot (The AM Affair).

In 1974 he was hired as PD for WKTZ FM in Jacksonville FL and later in 1986 made general manager of WKTZ FM when the station was sold.

In 1993 worked as host/producer/news director for WJCT FM, duties included doing news for the morning show and programming and hosting a jazz show (the "A" train) on Friday nights.

In 2000 worked at WHLC in Highlands NC as operations manager which included the early morning show. Current occupation is Alan Munro voice overs, with audio narrations distributed nationally.

Interviews over the years have included Lauren Tewes (Julie On Loveboat) Gordon Jump (WKRP Cinncinnati) Bob Denver (Gilligans Island), Actor Forrest Tucker, Sky King and many others.

TV credits include hosting "Ask the Mayor" with then mayor Tommy Hazouri on WJKS ch 47.

Stage credits include playing Selsden in "Noises Off",with Michael Emerson (Lost) at Theatre Jacksonville in 1987, and Rev Humphey in "See How They Run" at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre Jacksonville in 1981 working with Jay Thomas. (Mork And Mindy, Mr Hollands Opus)

Alan is a native of Worthing England, and a US Army Veteran, married (Liana, sales executive) with two daughters, Lainie, a theatrical performer and choreographer in New York, and Alicia ,who works for Princess Cruise Lines as an activities director. Alan is delighted to be working with the BostonPete.com Radio Network.
