John Denver’s Rocky Mountain Christmas -- December 10, 1975 (ABC) John teams up with Valerie Harper, Steve Martin and Olivia Newton-John to perform a number of seasonal and personal favorite songs for this special, which was filmed inside a climate-controlled dome in the Rockies and drew over 60 million viewers. (The commercials in this version are from a 1977 repeat broadcast.). 58 minutes. Good- condition. John Denver & The Muppets: A Christmas Together -- December 5, 1979 The Muppets are joined by John Denver to celebrate the holidays. Highlights include: Denver and the Muppets sing "The Twelve Days of Christmas"; Denver sings "The Pleasure of Your Company"; Kermit the Frog and Denver reminisce about past Christmases with their friends and families and sing "A Christmas Wish"; Miss Piggy confronts Denver in her dressing room about their presumed mutual attraction; Denver and Rowlf the Dog sing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"; and Denver recites the story of Jesus' birth.
