THE GREAT GILDERSLEEVE (1942)
Small-town eccentric Throckmorton Gildersleeve (of radio fame) has a few problems: Judge Hooker continually questions his guardianship of niece Margie and nephew Leroy; the judge's predatory sister Amelia has matrimony in mind. When a misunderstanding gives Amelia the idea she's all but engaged, the kids form a wild scheme to get Gildersleeve out of trouble. 62 minutes.

GILDERSLEEVE’S BAD DAY (1943)
Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve is called for jury duty to serve in the trial of bank robber Louie Barton. He soon finds himself involved with some shady characters and is wrongly suspected of bribe-taking. In his efforts to get out of trouble, he almost loses his reputation and even his life -- not to mention his pants -- before things are finally sorted out. 63 minutes.

GILDERSLEEVE ON BROADWAY (1943)
It's springtime in Summerfield, and everyone except Leroy is in love. Throckmorton Gildersleeve is proposing to girlfriend Matilda, Birdie is on the phone making sweet talk with "her little pork chop" and Marjorie's missing her boyfriend Jimmy, who hasn't written in way too long. A drug supply company plans to go out of business, which could force Peavey the druggist to close up shop. Gildersleeve heads to New York City, ostensibly on a mission for his friend Peavey, but really to locate his niece Margie's erring beau Jimmy. However, he does visit the drug company and gets a warm reception from the company's president, a lonely widow. Soon he's dodging three women: a gold-digging blonde, his fiancée, and nutty Laura Chandler, the drug supplier Peavey needs to win over. 64 minutes.

GILDERSLEEVE’S GHOST (1944)
Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve is running for the job of police commissioner against incumbent Haley. The ghosts of his ancestors Randolph and Jonathan decide to help him get elected, but succeed only in getting him mixed up with mad scientist John Wells, an escaped gorilla, and an intermittently invisible showgirl. 64 minutes.
