Jane Morgan (Betty Grable) is an aspiring dancer who is star-struck over singer Brad Morgan (Buddy Rogers) and decides to audition for a position in the chorus line for his show. Through a misunderstanding, she ends up being hired as an usherette in the theater instead. Meanwhile, Maxine Barry (Mary Livingstone), the head usherette and daughter of the theater owner, pursues her own matrimonial dreams with the theater’s hard-hearted publicity man Inky Wells (Ned Sparks), who wants to use Fibber McGee and Molly (Jim and Marian Jordan) as a publicity angle for Morgan’s show. 71 minutes.

Bonus #1: The April 26, 1937 broadcast of the radio series “Fibber McGee and Molly.” In this rarely-heard episode, Fibber and Molly prepare to leave Wistful Vista for Hollywood for the filming of “This Way, Please.” 28 minutes.

Bonus #2: The September 22, 1959 broadcast of the television sitcom “Fibber McGee and Molly” starring Bob Sweeney and Cathy Lewis. In this episode, Fibber rents a storefront to a businessman who wants to open a gallery. Unfortunately, Fibber thinks he means an art gallery, but it actually becomes a shooting gallery! 27 minutes.
