Rescue From Gilligan's Island (1978 - TV): Gilligan, Skipper and the rest of the crew of the U.S.S. Minnow are finally rescued fifteen years after shipwrecking on a mysterious deserted island. But will they be able to adjust to the pressures of the outside world, a world that has moved on without them? RESCUE FROM GILLIGAN'S ISLAND features the same one-liners, sped up slapstick, and goofy charm that made the original series so popular.
Cast: Bob Denver, Alan Hale Jr., Jim Backus, Natalie Schaefer, Russell Johnson, Dawn Wells
The Borrowers (1973 - TV): An eight-year-old boy discovers a family of tiny people, only a few inches tall, living beneath the floorboards of a Victorian country home.
Cast: Eddie Albert, Tammy Grimes, Judith Anderson, Barnard Hughes
Jungle Book (1942): Teenaged Mowgli, who was raised by wolves, appears in a village in India and is adopted by Messua. Mowgli learns human language and some human ways quickly, though keeping jungle ideas. Influential Merchant Buldeo is bigoted against 'beasts' including Mowgli; not so Buldeo's pretty daughter, whom Mowgli takes on a jungle tour where they find a treasure, setting the evil of human greed in motion.
Cast: Sabu, Joseph Calleia, Rosemary DeCamp, John Qualen
King Arthur, The Young Warlord (1975 - UK Film): The story of King Arthur's campaign against the Saxon forces. A realistic and often brutal portrayal of armed struggle in the Middle Ages.
Cast: Oliver Tobias, John Watson, Michael Gothard
Long John Silver's Return To Treasure Island (1954 - Australia): After the Treasure Island adventure, Long John Silver turns up on a British Caribbean island, where he hears that rival pirate Mendoza has taken the ship carrying the governor's daughter...and his young friend Jim Hawkins. Naturally, there's more to his rescue plan than meets the eye; he hopes to get a new ship and go back for more treasure
Cast: Robert Newton, Connie Gilchrist, Lloyd Berrell, Grant Taylor
Alice's Adventures In Wonderland (1972 - UK Film): This is perhaps the most faithful version of Alice in Wonderland. The dialogue is practically verbatim and the visuals are made to resemble the original illustrations drawn by John Tenniel. Composer John Barry provides the story with a collection of beautifully enchanting songs, many of which are straight out of the book.
Cast: Fiona Fullerton, Michael Jayston, Michael Crawford
Heidi (1968 - TV): Stars Maximilian Schell, in the classic tale of a little girl and her grandfather.
Cast: Maximilian Schell, Jean Simmons, Jennifer Edwards
The New Adventures Of Heidi (1978 - TV): Heidi leaves the mountains of Switzerland for a trip to New York City. Heidi is still the same lovable little girl she's been for almost 100 years in a tender story of love, laughter and hope.
Cast: Burl Ives, Katy Kurtzman, John Gavin
The Over The Hill Gang (1969): This is a nostalgic roundup of veteran movie stars, brought together for a rousing western comedy send-up. A group of elderly ex-Rangers (Pat O'Brien, Walter Brennan, Andy Devine, Edgar Buchanan and Chill Wills) reunite to clean up a small Texas town besieged by political corruption.
Cast: Pat O'brien, Walter Brennan, Chill Wills, Edgar Buchanan, Andy Devine, Gypsy Rose Lee
The Over The Hill Gang Rides Again (1970): A sequel to the very popular "Over-the-Hill Gang", which portrayed a group of retired Texas Rangers (Walter Brennan, Edgar Buchanan, Andy Devine, Chill Wills) who came out of retirement to save their small town from criminals.
Cast: Walter Brennan, Fred Astaire, Edgar Buchanan, Chill Wills, Andy Devine, Lana Wood
