James Cagney is at his best in SOMETHING TO SING ABOUT, playing a Manhattan bandleader in this musical melodrama about Hollywood life. Taking a trip to L.A. with his wife, he becomes surprisingly successful, and provokes chaos in the studio system after a series of unfortunate mishaps.
