PERFECTLY FRANK is a tribute to Frank Sinatra and his music by one of the few singers generally considered to be his peer. Like Sinatra, Tony Bennett demonstrates a strong jazz influence, both in his choice of material and sidemen, and his feeling for phrasing and the beat. And again, like Sinatra, Bennett avoids cheap sentiment by investing in each song a lived-in feeling. PERFECTLY FRANK has already acquired a reputation as one of Tony Bennett's most fully-realized recitals.
